Skied some trees off the chief pascall ridge. Raining up to 1500m in the morning. Snow quality improving quickly above 1600m. ~5cm of new snow on a supportive crust. Skiing quality was good in the 1800-1900m range. Some wind transport was observed and stiffer snow noticed on wind loaded features.

Light snow on crust at 1800m. Snow became heavier until ~1300m below which the crust went away and the upper 20-30cms of the snowpack was saturated with large crystals on the surfaces
