Quick Observation

This was our first time in the area. We were hoping to ski Cheque's in the Mail, but with moderate winds from the West we weren't sure if the skiing would be good or if there would be wind slab issues on the run. So we went to the top of Vantage Ridge and skied the west line of South Side. Very wind affected skiing at ridge top, we skied right along the ridge and popped a very small wind slab right of us in the slope (about 10cm deep, 15m wide). The skiing was amazing down to about 1500m, where it got quite wet. But it was still good/OK down to the logging road.
