Sea to Sky

Snow was okay past about 1300m in the morning, but past 2pm below even 1400m, it was wet, loose, and slippery. Since this mountain has fairly steep slopes and trees that make it hard to cut large switchbacks, it was not the most easy to navigate. Terrain isn't very risky though, so no slides seen. Small debris in steeper, untreed slopes. Cornices visibly melting but seemed solid enough still.
Snow conditions were: Wet. Weather conditions were: Sunny, Warm. We avoided: Sunny slopes. Riding quality was ok.
Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
Weather
Warm and t-shirt compatible til you hit the alpine, then a fairly biting wind kicked in to make jackets and gloves rather necessary
