Quick report
I skinned from Paradise up to Muir and found surprisingly great riding conditions. There were several inches of cold dry snow sitting on op of a punchy crust. The newish snow bonded nicely to the crust in most areas and made for an amazing run down. Some snow clearly had been moved by the wind, but I couldn't find any thick deposits along the snowfield. I started at 9:30. It wasn't difficult to find wet lose avalanches. There were some along the south east facing side of the Nisqually Chute and some lining the bowl above Paradise Glacier. None of them were large. I saw the first rollerball of the day at 11:30 up on the snowfield. There were more on the descent. Overall, conditions were stable and the skiing was great.
Avalanche
There were several small wet-loose avalanches visible on the south east facing side of the Nisqually Chute and several larger wet-lose slides in the bowl above the paradise glacier. None appeared to travel far. There was one larger slide visible from a distance began right below a cornice that presumably fell. However, I was too far away to know if the collapse had no way of knowing how old it was.
