Was a nice day in the mountains. Even with a constant sun on the slopes, the snow stayed powdery during our 1:30 descent. Observed roller balls from before the current storm cycle but a solid snowpack today with no instabilities . If you’re thinking about hitting up Ruby, there’s about 2k of hiking before you hit the snow, but it seems like some of the best quality snow around. Will probably ‘in’ for one or two more weeks.
