6-8” of fresh snow. Started off light and right side up, then the sun baked it starting around 10am. Lots of pinwheels from most turns below 5k feet on south aspects. North aspects held on a little better. Took the sleds up the backside. Skied a few laps on the backside and one on the front side. Road in from nordic center is melting fast.
Avalanche
Cowboy ridge above skid road. D2 wet loose from earlier this AM. Hard to tell what triggered it so we did a quick beacon search in the debris with no results.
