Still a little low tide at beavers envy but the skiing was great. Found a shallow snowpack with ~20cm of new snow sitting on top of a crust that was present in most areas. Below this crust was weak faceted snow all the way to the ground. Only did one set of stability tests but where I dug there didn't seem to be enough of a slab to generate propogation. Could see evidence of a natural avalanche on an east facing slop across the valley. It seemed to be fairly wide but was far enough away that it was hard to estimate dimensions. Also saw a natural avalanche driving through the steep part of the canyon shortly before beaver (west facing slope).
