We could see some older slides off the cirque aera, both looked to have started near rocks. And lots of rolling snow off rocks. Was able to toss snow and start a rollypoly to a decent size on the east facing stuff. 10 trys and 2 rollypolys that were a foot in diameter. Did experience some settling/whomp snow by some wind loaded rocks. Still early season conditions. And definitely hit a few rocks this day as well. And as a hero of mine says or something close to it. If they're not rocks skis, your making them into rock skis. Have a good season.

After reviewing this public observation, KPAC added this ~D1.5 avalanche to the avalanche database. Appears to be a soft slab avalanche that occurred late in the Nov. 22/23 storm, or possibly during the subsequent ~NW wind event.
