Quick report
We rode sleds up Kimmerly and then skied over the ridge into Skookoleel. The surface snow was everything you could imagine, but mostly either facets or crust. Incredibly frustrating trail breaking, like climbing a sand dune. Snow flurries started around 11 and dropped maybe an inch in the 3 hours we were skiing. Windy on the ridge top, and much steadier snow by 2:30 when we headed down. No signs of instability yet with so little new snow.
