Quick report
6-8" of new snow over the weekend and rapid warming to above freezing temps seem to be likely culprits.
Avalanche
Observed several small natural avalanches on small steep eastern aspects near the tow of the Castner Glacier. Also saw debris from a much larger avalanche that came down a gully on the southern side of the Castner Valley just above the toe of the glacier.
