Quick report

Cracking
specific
Collapsing
specific

Found 30-35 cms of new uncohesive snow without any wind effect.  New snow is very light and is only adding a small amount of stress to weak faceted snow beneath.  12/1 rain crust exists up to 3000' and is unsupportable on skis with large facet development on the underside.  Above 3k coverage is variable with many thinly veiled rocks.  Rock hard December wind slab is capping facets beneath  and ranges from non existent to 2+ feet deep.

Dug a pit in an area with a tapering December slab (2 inches -18 inches). Tapped on the thin side of the wind slab and received propagation (ECTP11 down 40 cms at thin edge to 80cms at thicker edge)

Some minor signs of instability were noted along the entire route. Collapses and shooting cracks were small in size
