This was the largest avalanche that I found from the windy storm that moved through on Feb 27. It started out as a fresh wind slab involving only the newest snow.
As it slid downhill, it stepped down and broke into a few layers deeper in the snowpack. The depth was around 20" in this part of the avalanche.
