Still a very poor snowpack structure at Beavers Envy (SW 9000 ft). The snow under the sun crust that formed during the November dry spell is very weak, sugary, and faceted. Stability tests were inconsistent with propagation but a PST right below the sun crust failed pretty much right at halfway (52/100). Compression tests and ECTs failed in the new snow ~30cm down but there was no propagation.
