Quick report
Our goal was to ski in Tuckerman Ravine, staying clear of path start zones and sheltered areas in the terrain. Our inability to assess the hazards in the terrain, and reduce our uncertainty from afar due to poor visibility, reports from other skiers of instability found in snowpack tests, and observed underfoot, and debris evidence of a large recent avalanche from somewhere around the headwall were enough red flags for us, so we turned around at the floor, and skied down to the car.

Could not assess the slide well due to poor visibility, but there was debris far down into the flats of the floor of Tuckerman Ravine.
