Dug to the ground on an E. facing aspect in Salmon River canyon approx. 6,300 feet, 30 degree slope. Snowpack is roughly 125cm, with 25cm of fresh snow. Storm snow failed on the faceted crust from our long dry period. ECTP -7 Surface conditions were excellent in wind sheltered zones.
