Quick report
More storm snow then expected, about 8’ at the cabin translated to about two feet just below the divide. Seems about 50% of the snowpack arrived here in maybe the last three weeks. Still in the consolidation process with some spots feeling ok, while others very hollow. No slabs or cracking observed but enough slough to carry downhill with a sled. Storm snow was very low density, plenty of recently submerged rocks and logs just below the surface. Warmer system on wednesday should aid the consolidation process, but will likely result in a wrong side up snowpack with significant snow available for wind transport.
