We traveled quite cautiously today, staying out of avalanche terrain altogether. We experienced widespread collapsing as we walked up the ridge to Governor’s Punch Bowl area, confirming our decision making for today’s tour. I was a bit surprised at the little wind effect we observed- I expected to see more. Soft, fun low angle skiing!
Avalanche
We observed multiple natural avalanches on SE facing, rocky terrain. They appeared to have slid a few days ago.
