At least 10 inches of new, very light and cold snow fell within the last 24 hr. Continued snowing steady in the morning until approximately 12:00pm. Wind about 15 mph. Cracking within new snow. Consistent slab releases on steeper (>45 deg) slope angle. Very sensitive snow. The snow released is pretty light. Very firm snow/ice underneath new snow.

The first slide was size D2, self-reported by the triggering snowboarder. No one caught or carried. At least 10" crown down and across the face of the slope at a diagonal, almost like along a cross loading/wind loading line . Likely the new now from the past 24 hr sliding on old snow surface. Unknown interface. At least 45 degree slope angle. Second slide was of similar quality, smaller and below a tree band, skier's right of "cabin ledges." Numerous smaller slides triggered on test slopes of similar slope angle throughout the day.
