Quick report
During a Rattlesnake traverse, I found stable snow on all aspects. The surface snow had already bonded well to the old snow surface, and I did not observe cracking or other signs of instability. Temperatures were warm enough that additional snow was not being transported by the wind. I noticed a large old crown in one of the steep north facing chutes that likely ran during the late December storm and some normal loose roller ball debris from the past week. Otherwise, observed natural avalanche activity was minimal. I did not dig a pit, but felt comfortable skiing steep terrain on all aspects.
