Skied burnt tree glades. Snow was amazing. Dug a pit near the top below the ridge line. Overall snow pack is stable, approx 120cm base. Weak layer, faceted snow at 50cm. However, no failure during compression test. East facing aspect pit on 35-40degree slope.
