12-16" of new snow in the last 24 hours. Snowfall until around noon. New snow was right side up (especially compared to yesterday). Winds were significantly calmer today with no visible wind transport or loading. Hand shear tests portrayed some density breaks, one of which was a thick layer of graupel below most recent new snow likely from start of snowfall yesterday/last night that sheared easily. Found another density break from midstorms down 24" that also sheared easily. These will likely stabilize quickly given a bit of time. Old wind slabs formed yesterday are covered by new snow and will be difficult to identify. No cracking of new snow surfaces. Skies cleared by around 17:00.
