We triggered several large and loud audible collapses or whumpfs. In some cases, we could feel the snow dropping under foot, and bushes would shutter rather violently.
We went into the Beaver Mt Backcountry to examine a large natural avalanche. See the YouTube video below
Snowpack
Felt a bit inverted due to wind drifting that was obviously intense overnight. Areas with branches, and pine needles littering the snow surface. Hard and softer drifts and fresh cornice buildup observed.
There were pretty good powder conditions in sheltered areas, but the deep snow was a bit inverted, and we could stick our ski poles all the way through the new snow into faceted snow under it.
