- <p>Wind drifted snow is the most obvious, in your face, avalanche problem and it wasn't hard to figure out today</p> <p>Went looking for the 2/14 NSF/Crust combo to see if it's still reactive. Where my travels brought me and the snow I saw, it was comfortable in its own skin. However, today's weather hampered my ability to see more terrain, so the jury is still out for another day.</p>
Snow densities decreased during the AM, but winds had their way and there was quite a bit of wind whipped snow in open terrain.
