Quick report

Pleasant & hot day on South Sister. Boot/ski crampons were key in the morning hours, and don't forget your sunnies (met multiple people w/o)! Saw plenty of folks out enjoying the day, now that the road is open. Good vibes! Although the day warmed up quite a bit, we didn't see much wet loose or roller ball activity. We noted some evidence of natural/skier triggered wet looses from the last week or so, but surprisingly minimal from recent days. Zooming out, we noted some glide cracks opening on solar aspects later in the day, and saw some evidence of tension cracks starting to form near the cornice along the southside climbers route/above Lewis Glacier. Good reminder to keep one's exposure to these sorts of hazards in mind (especially along that climber's route). The view we got of BT also showed no particularly recent activity.
