The new snow enough to make for pretty decent skiing but the crust is still there. Observed a lot of cracking and propagation up to 40 feet in the new snow. It is not bonding to the crust layer. Triggered a small avalanche in the new snow, maybe 5 inches deep and 20 feet across. See linked video of new snow cracking.
