Aiming for more sheltered/low angle areas, we kept to treed east facing zones. Felt a bit of wind affect and isolated cracking under foot while putting in the up track on more windward west aspect up closer to the ridge top, about 6300 ft. Kicked off some loose duff in steeper spots, but no propagation or anything behaving like a slab. Clear skies to start the day, clouds midday and colder temps and some S1 blowing in by 3. Overall fresh turns and less touchy than expected.
