Quick report
Was passed by avalanche as noted. Observed no signs of instability of any kind, with a very soft top layer of snow. Did not conduct snowpack test. Continuous snowfall. Overall impression of stability was very high, avalanche likely a result of fluff releasing on higher angle parts of Hillmans.

Skinned up lower portion of Hillmans Highway, observed no signs of any instability, with extremely low density snow. Ascended to 4390ft and transitioned under the protection of a slight overhang. While transitioning, was passed by a natural avalanche, at about 10ft distance. Avalanche ran out over the 200 yards below me. No burial, no person carried. Skied out with no additional avalanches observed. Max depth in the runout zone looked to be about 4-5ft.
