Saw a big avalanche that went into the deeper pwl layers on Raymond Slabs or Piece of Pie. I don't always know which is which. We observed this on ridge to the east, approaching pair a dice or Raymond glade. See photo.

The deeper snow structure is terrible but surprisingly (at least to me) this is the only deeper avalanche I've seen. But the pwl layer(s) are definitely still active.

There was also a smaller, storm slab in Piece of Pie and a very large old avalanche (not from this cycle), perhaps a glide? But this recent deeper slide seemed important to me.

I didn't see anyone report this and maybe we were the first in that zone since the last storm. I attached a photo of the smaller, storm slab and this deeper avalanche.
