Quick report
We went on a quest to try to scrounge up some decent turns, and we had some success. Surfaces were variable, but it seems like a lot of the windblown surfaces have started to facet, and surface conditions are slowly improving. It's dust on crust, faceting melt-freeze crusts, and faceting wind slabs, but all of that actually skied much better than my past few field days.
We didn't see any recent avalanche activity. These current surfaces will probably be an issue down the road, once we get new snow.

Clear, calm, and cold, although it felt pretty nice in the sun.
Snowpack
Surfaces are variable, but we noticed a lot of the wind-damaged surfaces have started to facet, and ski conditions are a little better now than they were a few days ago. Still plenty to contend with, but it's an improvement.
This mix of faceted surfaces and crusts will be something to remember when we get new snow.
