Quick report
Skinning was pleasant after a hard overnight freeze Sunday into Monday. Booted up the last section to pan point as ski crampons were a struggle on the steep section. Skinning from pan point to Muir was excellent, a few inches of snow from Saturday into Sunday. Snow softened a bit up high by 3:30, but not proper corn with the new snow yet to melt/consolidate/refreeze. Snowfield skiied quite well, some wind effect, but still nice turns. Down below 8K snow softened up more, but crust was still noticeable/not softened up until 7K, starting to get wet/slushy below pan point into the last pitch to paradise parking lot. Overall snow is settled and should offer good turns for quite some time. Paradise proper sitting at around 100inches of snow. Dissipates quickly as you lose elevation.
Avalanche
Observed a few D1-D2 avalanches on the S facing terrain by the finger and Wilson glacier, also few slides coming off the walls above the nisqually from the cliffs/steep rock bands to lookers left side of the glacier.
