We were in the AIARE 2 course today out of halfway and rode out to Ridge of Respect (near Norway Yurt). We were getting ready to dig a pit on an East aspect slope at 6657ft. We all stopped to get off our sleds and some brapped the throttle and we all felt and heard a large whoomp. In the pit we did a PST Propagation Saw test and we had failure at 40/100 end. We determined this was the source of the whoomp.
