Light snowfall throughout the day with snow levels just under 7000'. SW winds started increasing in speed around midday.
Snowpack
I made observations in the Mt. Judah area today. The recent dense snow has created a good base in this area for travel, especially above 7500'. Light snow was present today with increasing SW winds. There was a previous rain crust on snow surfaces up to around 7500'. The snowpit I dug at 8000' showed a snowpack gaining strength with no layers of concern at this point.
