Quick report

Cracking
isolated

Other general snowpack notes: It was windy at the crest, but below it felt pretty warm all day. Northerly aspects above 7000 were still skiing good dry powder. Northerly aspects 6500- 7000 were heavy dry snow. Northerly aspects below 6500 produced large pinwheels (see pic) and felt saturated/heavy. light to 5cm Crust exists on most S, E, W, aspects at all elevations from 6k-8k except for protected trees. NE was still mostly dry.

Avalanche

~10cm deep wind slab maybe 10-15 ft wide on a ski cut at the top of the slope on Judah ~8200ft. Very heavy westerly winds had been transporting snow onto the east face that we skied. Windslab seemed isolated to the top 5-10ft or so, but it did slide 50 to 100ft downslope.
