Quick report
On Sunday 4/7 we skinned up and skiied the basin between Pinnacle Peak and the Castle, as well as the saddle to the East of the Castle. Saw lots of evidence of previous wet loose slides (I assume from Saturday 4/6) but we didn't see any activity the whole day we were up there. The snow felt heavy and like it's consolidating well, but on some higher (above 5k) convex aspects I did notice an icy crust about 4-6 inches deep (maybe from 3/25 or 3/28?) that I couldn't manage to poke my snow pole through.
