Quick report
Snow throughout all travel felt stable. During uphill travel and ski down small amounts of snow from the warmer surface crust sloughed out from beneath skis. Traversed and skied through wind affected snow, which was to be soft and fun to ski. No cracking, or collapsing observed.

Wind was consistent from the West with few gusts. At the start of the day, skies were clear & sunny. Beginning early afternoon scattered clouds and slightly stronger wind gusts began.
Snowpack
Snowpack felt stable throughout all travel today. At 4590 ft uphill travel became difficult on skis due to a blanket of 1F snow around 5 cm deep resting on a denser base of P snow. This layer began at the base of the runout and was consistent through 4750 ft. Above 4750 ft the surface still had a thin layer of solar warmed crust less than 1 cm that was very easy to break through. Boot penetration at its deepest was 5 cm below 4750 ft. Noticed cracking between skis, but did not propagate. Snow sloughed out beneath skis. Observed wind affected snow which appeared firm to the eye, but once traveling through it uphill and on the run down, noticed it was soft.
