Quick report
Strong gusts out of the south blowing snow on the ridgeline and cliffs. Extremely thick sun crust made us bail early (on heavily sun-affected slopes the crust was 1-2” thick). Did not make for enjoyable skiing.
Avalanche
Widespread evidence of relatively recent wet loose avalanches (D1-D2) on the west slope of East Peak. Estimate they were at least a couple days old.
