Increasing cloud cover and cold temps. Light breeze from the south.

I looked at west-facing slopes as well and the ski penetration was greater at about 30cms while the snow depth was still shallow around 70-80cms. There were no notable crusts--I think because any slight warm-up and melt-freeze crust has faceted with the shallow snow depth and relatively cooler winter.
