Decided to go check out the Hallway today. Rode down to the entrance of the line and on the way I remotely triggered a big pocket to the skiers left. Decided not to ride the line after witnessing the slide. Hiked back up to the ridge and reported to Alta Central. Surely would have been a nasty ride over some cliffs had I been caught in it. Thankful for a positive outcome today, will definitely be dialing back my terrain choice for the foreseeable future. PWL is still very much active so be careful out there. Pic is a screen grab from my helmet cam video of the slide as it was happening.
These two photos and quote came to Bo through IG.
"Watched it happen at 11:20 AM. Ran about 1200' vert."
