Snowpack
Dug a pit on a SE aspect @ 7600'. ECTP 25 on Jan 26 (down 70), after the Feb 18 crust was removed (due to non-propagating result). So unlikely to trigger (especially with N/O interface intact) but still showing a propensity to propagate on top of the Jan 26 crust (facets at interface).
Some cracking within the new snow at a density inversion that took place mid storm (storm slab interface, likely what was reported by the Targhee patrol on Feb 21).
Tree bombs observed, indicative of a snowpack that is still adjusting to the recent load.
