Starting on the road at 6:30 am there were strong NE winds and aggressive gusts throughout the morning, which filled the skin track between laps. The wind significantly slowed following the sunrise. Traveling and skiing on a south facing aspect there was a ~10 cm crust on unsheltered snow. A fracture was observed during a compression test and no results in the extended column test.
