Brief tour traversing the lower flanks of Summit Peak. The height of snow was 30” with the crust found 12” down. We saw a few small wind slabs D1.5 on east aspects breaking at ridgetops with one stepping down mid slope likely on the persistent weak layer buried under new snow from the previous week. One other Natural D2 noted on Seattle Ridge on the drive home. Great surface conditions in the trees for skiing.
