Quick report

= Overall coverage seems to be better in the Whitefish Range. Still on the low tide side though. = All aspects on the west side of the divide have various crust and rime layers in the top 12". Above 6000' surface rime was developing. =Thick layer of stratus clouds above 5500'. Sun was obscured all day. =Calm winds, with a light northwest ridge top breeze. Below freezing all day. =Snow looked good, ski quality was poor, but manageable. = If you are accessing the Whitefish Range from the Olney Snowmobile Parking Area, there is active an active logging operation. Trucks and machinery on the Olney Cut Across Road.
