-Toured up from gold creek into Maggie’s trees. -Trail breaking was highly slow and strenuous with all the new heavy snow, it took us almost 4hrs to climb 2000ft. -new snow was sliding easily on the 3/12 crust but was moving with fairly low energy and was very unconsolidated -hand pits showed that layers down near the 3/8 crust were still very touchy but generally was not a lot of energy in the snowpack given how wet and heavy it was and the lack of consolidation. - skiing quality was middling as the shear amt of snow really slowed us down
