Quick report
Toured from Paradise to Muir starting around 10am. <5mm ski pen the whole way. Calm winds. Not enough snow on Pan Face to skin the entire way. Bullet proof conditions just below Muir (ski crampons quite helpful). Descent was quite firm and chattery at the top. Lots of wind affected snow and sastrugi. Skiing turned quite good between 9,000 and 7,000. Below 7,000, mashed potatoes. Surprisingly no evidence of rollerballs or wet loose slides that occurred during out trip. Wet loose conditions felt possible at lower elevations at and below Pan Face.
Avalanche
Multiple large rock and icefall events triggered slides out of Wilson Headwall Area? (above Nisqually Glacier). No activity seen on Muir Snowfield
