Toured from Norway yurt > Norway summit Today was mostly clear and variable light winds. Solar aspects already have a thin MF crust elevation and slope angle specific. Travel only today, but numerous hand pits along the way. It appears the storm came in as hot rain to what appeared to be at least 9k'. There was a thin crust underneath the new storm snow which the new snow was well bonded to. The storm, (at least in Norway Basin > Norway Creek) finished from the North, wind channeled through Clippers gap. This change in the wind direction created a layer of snow up to 10 cm deep that is not well bonded to the layers earlier in the storm. Many natural storm slabs exist from the SE-NE at this depth and less, in the upper Basin. Skiing from summit was bottomless. Slabs released between ski tracks to crumble into dry loose quickly. Ski cuts on clean slopes yielded no new activity. Overall outstanding day in the mountains
