Snowpack
Surface hoar up to 4mm in valley bottom. Sun crusts up to 2 inches developing on west aspects. Shallow snowpack in this area as height of snow reached top of the extended shovel handle. There were patches of bare ground under blue spruce. Saw a few small diameter (2inch) rollers on these slopes.
