Snow accumulation on the south east to north facing aspects. Snow was around 30 cm, with a thick 6cm crust on top and a light layer of new snow. Snow pack was very soft and slushy most of the day and firmed up as soon as the sun went down. Red flags- weak layer underneath surface crust.
