- <p>We first heard a collapse just above Baker Spring while following some moose tracks. At the time, we didn't think it could be a collapse. My partner heard a second one after getting into the bowl, but there wasn't much snow there. Just before getting to the more open snow covered riskier slopes, we both heard and felt a third collapse. At that point we discussed the situation and turned around and hiked back down the Bowman trail. We never saw anything slide, nor did we want to. </p>
About elevation 9100 on the Bowman Trail.

Snow was damp but we were able to kick steps into it. Some postholing.
