Quick report
Found stable snow with mix of riding conditions : wind affect both scoured and drifted, powder, hot powder, dense powder, at lower elevations (below 5500) the atmospheric river crust makes its presence known. Little sign of instability, some warming on the eastern slopes of Crystal but the area receives such little time in the sun that im not sure if a crust developed. We didn’t ascend to the crest of the range above. Cascadilla trail seemed to be spared some of the worst damage from the wind, a number of small diameter trees are easily dispatched under and over. Bush conditions are tolerable considering the season and elevation, it’s really a minimal bush battle with the current skinner.
