Finally a bit of snow in the Gothic area. Only light yesterday but steady last night while heaviest just after midnight for a few hours before wind started back up with gusts to 25 mph. The wind was moderate with strong gusting Wednesday afternoon until letting up some after dark. New snow was 8" with 0.63" of water as snowpack reached 49", still 3" shy of this winters deepest, though it is the average depth for this date. However, total snowfall is still well below the winter average. Temperatures remain mild with the high 32F and low the current 17F as this month has hit or beat freezing 5 of the first 7 days of the month so far. Currently very light snow with light but gusting wind and cloud cover is obscured. billy
